This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to optimize revenue growth and enhance market penetration for designated major accounts.
• Establish and nurture strong, professional relationships with executives and stakeholders through consistent communication and business meetings.
• Assess customer needs and create customized solutions that align with their business objectives while maximizing profitability.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, operations, and product development, to provide comprehensive solutions and address customer issues.
• Monitor customer performance metrics, analyze trends, and prepare thorough reports on account status, forecasts, and growth opportunities.
• Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to showcase value and identify opportunities for expanding the service offering.
• Manage the sales pipeline and generate accurate forecasts to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns to ensure timely and professional resolution.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance market presence.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in account management or key account management within a B2B environment.
• Demonstrated success in managing large, complex accounts and driving revenue growth.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities with the capacity to influence at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in German is highly desirable.
• Proficient in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of sales processes, business development strategies, and customer development methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the capability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Problem-solving orientation focused on customer-centric solutions.
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to fostering long-term business relationships.
• Preferred: experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Preferred: familiarity with the German market and German business culture.
• Preferred: project management experience.
