This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee all pertinent sales activities aimed at cultivating customers and markets in accordance with established strategies and budgets.
• Manage and enhance relationships with existing customers while also identifying and securing new clientele.
• Responsible for budget forecasting for designated customers, analyzing discrepancies, and initiating corrective measures.
• Actively engage in closing business deals ("owner mentality") and take accountability for meeting sales objectives.
• Utilize our CRM system effectively, including segmentation, activities, volume structures, and project management.
• Maintain continuous communication with Product Management and Technical Service teams.
• Monitor, assess, and report on market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
• Provide strategic and operational market insights to facilitate internal decision-making processes.
• Identify potential new market opportunities.
• Foster strategic and dependable collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Product Management, Technical Service, Application Development, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure clear communication, defined responsibilities, and timely escalations.
• Contribute to the enhancement of internal sales processes and knowledge sharing initiatives.
• A degree or vocational training in a technical or commercial discipline.
• Strong capability to comprehend customer needs, recognize opportunities, and leverage them effectively.
• Hands-on approach and robust service orientation, both internally and externally.
• Experience in B2B sales related to standard polymers or comparable products.
• Ability to acquire extensive knowledge across a diverse range of product groups and processing technologies.
• Understanding of product portfolios in polyethylene, PE copolymers, polypropylene, and polystyrene, along with complementary products.
• Knowledge of processing technologies such as injection molding, blow molding, cast film, and blown film is a plus.
• Independent and self-sufficient working style.
• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
