This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee all pertinent sales initiatives aimed at cultivating customers and markets in accordance with established strategies and budgets.
• Manage and expand relationships with current customers while identifying and securing new clientele.
• Handle budget planning for designated customers, analyze discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Actively engage in closing business opportunities with an "owner mentality" and take charge of meeting sales objectives.
• Utilize our CRM system for segmentation, activity tracking, volume structures, and project management.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Product Management and Technical Service teams.
• Monitor and assess market trends, customer requirements, and developments within the competitive landscape.
• Supply strategic and operational market insights to assist in internal decision-making processes.
• Detect new market opportunities.
• Foster strategic and dependable collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Technical Service, Application Development, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure effective communication, clear responsibilities, and prompt escalation of issues.
• Contribute to the enhancement of internal sales processes and knowledge sharing initiatives.
• A completed degree or vocational training in a technical or business discipline.
• Strong capability to understand customer needs, recognize opportunities, and leverage them effectively.
• A hands-on approach with a robust service orientation both internally and externally.
• Experience in B2B sales within the commodity polymers sector or related product areas.
• Ability to develop in-depth knowledge across a diverse range of product categories and processing technologies.
• Familiarity with product portfolios including polyethylene, PE-copolymers, polypropylene, and polystyrene, along with complementary products.
• Knowledge of processing technologies such as injection molding, blow molding, and cast and blown film is advantageous.
• Independent and self-motivated work style.
• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
