This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Drive growth in new business across CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA, UT, and ID.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities with municipalities and haulers.
• Lead prospecting initiatives from outreach and discovery through to proposal and contract award.
• Secure new municipal contracts, roll-outs, and strategic partnerships with haulers.
• Deliver engaging product presentations, conduct site visits, offer demos, and provide early onboarding support.
• Transition accounts to long-term management once they are established.
• Act as the main commercial contact during the onboarding process and initial engagement.
• Conduct introductory business reviews, pricing negotiations, forecasting, and submissions for new items.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience during the early stages of account development.
• Develop and implement a territory plan for the West Coast that aligns with Environmental growth objectives.
• Monitor market dynamics, RFP activities, capital budgets, and competitive trends.
• Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and insights into opportunities.
• Assist in shaping pricing strategy through margin analysis and preparation of quotes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance to fulfill customer requirements.
• Gather customer feedback to facilitate new product launches and engineering modifications.
• Work with the Senior Sales Director on planning, reporting, and forecasting initiatives.
• Track pipeline KPIs, conversion rates, and trends in the regional market.
• Provide insights and intelligence regarding competitors and market conditions.
• Support enhancements in process efficiency concerning quoting speed, communication, and profitability.
• Over 10 years of experience in sales or business development within the waste, recycling, environmental services, or public-sector industries.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new municipal and/or hauler clients.
• Experience in manufacturing or product-oriented industries is preferred.
• Strong commercial and financial insight, including skills in pricing and margin analysis.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in CRM/ERP systems, with IFS experience being a plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Western U.S.
• Must reside in the West Coast region (remote position).
