• Propel new business expansion throughout CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA, UT, and ID.
• Create and oversee a robust pipeline of opportunities with municipalities and haulers.
• Direct prospecting initiatives from outreach and exploration to proposal submission and contract finalization.
• Acquire new municipal contracts, facilitate roll-outs, and establish strategic partnerships with haulers.
• Conduct product presentations, site visits, demonstrations, and provide initial onboarding assistance.
• Transition accounts to long-term management once they are established.
• Act as the main commercial contact during the onboarding phase and initial engagement.
• Lead introductory business reviews, pricing negotiations, forecasting, and submissions for new items.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the initial stages of account development.
• Formulate and implement a West Coast territory strategy aligned with Environmental growth objectives.
• Monitor market trends, RFP activities, capital budgets, and competitive movements.
• Maintain precise CRM data, forecasts, and insights on opportunities.
• Assist in pricing strategies through margin evaluations and quote preparation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance to fulfill customer requirements.
• Relay customer feedback to aid in new product launches and engineering modifications.
• Work together with the Senior Sales Director on strategic planning, reporting, and forecasting.
• Track pipeline KPIs, conversion rates, and regional market developments.
• Provide competitive intelligence and insights regarding the market.
• Facilitate process enhancements in quoting efficiency, communication, and profitability.
• Over 10 years of experience in sales or business development within waste, recycling, environmental services, or public-sector industries.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new municipal and/or hauler clients.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing or product-oriented industries.
• Strong commercial and financial expertise, including skills in pricing and margin analysis.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in CRM/ERP systems, with IFS experience being advantageous.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the Western U.S.
• Must live within the West Coast region (this is a remote position).
