This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Establish and nurture enduring relationships with hyperscalers and colocation providers.
• Create customized solutions (a comprehensive approach: new installations – chillers & airside / controls & service).
• Achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction through proactive account management and swift resolution of issues.
• Formulate and execute strategic account plans to meet revenue objectives.
• Acquire new clients, draft proposals, and spearhead successful negotiations.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
• Monitor market dynamics and analyze trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, customer service) to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide consistent updates on project status, sales pipeline, and decision-making processes.
• Collaborate closely with product specialists and the technical team.
• Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
• Basic technical knowledge of HVAC systems is beneficial but not mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development – preferably within the data center or technology sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing large, complex customer accounts and achieving sales results.
• Strong understanding of hyperscalers, cloud providers, and the data center industry.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities.
• Capability to convert technical concepts into business-oriented solutions.
• Strong project management and organizational competencies.
• Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office applications.
• Willing to travel (up to 30%) for client meetings and industry events.
