This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Overseeing and fostering strategic customer relationships within the Busselton and Bunbury areas.
• Providing outstanding account management for Solenis' alumina clientele by applying structured and professional account management methodologies.
• Promoting organic business expansion through the introduction of additional applications, products, and equipment solutions.
• Continuously seeking opportunities to improve profitability and create value within existing customer accounts.
• Conducting regular reviews with customers.
• Preparing monthly reports (or as required).
• Managing pricing structures and budgets.
• Initiating and executing return on investment (ROI) projects.
• Implementing customer management and service strategies.
• Overseeing day-to-day management of support engineers, service technicians, and contractors, including conducting performance evaluations and addressing performance issues.
• Monitoring chemical usage.
• Possessing knowledge of alumina processes.
• Making adjustments to dosing equipment and performing mechanical repairs.
• Carrying out routine service duties as necessary.
• Strong dedication to safety, with the ability to recognize hazards and adhere to safe work practices.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Results-oriented, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and willing to travel as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with boilers and/or cooling towers is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Previous experience in sales, service, or account management is a plus.
• A degree in Chemistry, Science, Engineering, or a related field, or at least 3 years of experience in the alumina processing and chemical industry.
• Must either reside in or be willing to relocate to Busselton or Bunbury.
