• Serve as the steward for designated key accounts by utilizing in-depth business insights to uncover growth opportunities, proactively address challenges, and achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships throughout customer organizations, including buyers, replenishment teams, shopper marketing, and senior management, to foster collaboration, influence decision-making, and unlock growth prospects.
• Establish robust broker partnerships through clear guidance, ongoing coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to promote customer success and drive business expansion.
• Create and implement customer-specific promotional strategies in collaboration with Revenue Growth Management and Finance teams to optimize trade spend, maximize ROI, and enhance profitability.
• Spearhead all innovation and new product selling initiatives with retailers, accelerating speed to market and maximizing distribution opportunities.
• Convey priorities and execution expectations to OLIPOP field teams, broker partners, and third-party merchandising teams to ensure top-tier in-store execution.
• Continuously assess and refine route-to-market strategies in collaboration with Distributor Management and Operations teams to facilitate scalable and efficient growth.
• Work closely with Demand Planning and Commercial Planning teams to provide accurate forecasts and ensure supply continuity in line with production lead times.
• Collaborate across functions with Category, Commercial, and Shopper Marketing teams to utilize syndicated data, consumer insights, and brand assets to enhance brand awareness, customer growth, and in-store visibility.
• Regularly present account performance, priorities, strategies, and growth initiatives to OLIPOP leadership.
• Travel as necessary for customer meetings, trade shows, offsites, and internal gatherings.
• At least 4 years of key account experience, with a solid background in working with Northeast regional accounts and the CPG industry.
• Preferred headquarter-level experience with Wegmans and/or Giant Eagle, along with broker management experience.
• Strong skills in planning, organization, and project management, complemented by excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proven commercial and financial acumen, with experience in managing trade spend, forecasting, promotional planning, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
• Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and the capacity to independently lead initiatives from strategy to execution in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with a track record of navigating complex negotiations to achieve a “triple win” (for OLIPOP, our customers, and our consumers) and effectively convey the OLIPOP brand narrative.
• Cross-functional collaborator, capable of uniting internal and external partners around a common objective.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to spot business opportunities in retailer data. Familiarity with Nielsen/SPINS, Numerator, and Muffin is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and complex data analysis). Experience with team collaboration tools such as Slack and Zoom is preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance are required.
