This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Accountable for achieving national sales targets for our HOFFMAN products with designated key OEM accounts.
• Conduct direct outreach to end customers to foster sales growth, negotiate agreements, and promote product and system sales in line with established pricing strategies; ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations in product and system sales.
• Cultivate customer relationships to comprehend their needs and devise suitable solutions to effectively address them.
• Establish and nurture strong connections with key decision-makers at the global customer level.
• Collaborate with internal teams (such as R&D, product development, local sales, marketing, and customer service) and global partners to guarantee alignment and responsiveness to customer demands.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues or concerns related to global accounts.
• Create and present standard and tailored solutions that align with the specific needs and growth targets of each account on a global scale.
• Provide annual forecasts with quarterly updates to support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Work collaboratively with global sales and marketing teams and counterparts to pinpoint new product categories or markets for targeted customers and drive new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with product management and marketing to identify, recommend, and resolve the appropriate product mix for the market and sourcing strategies.
• Promote business product lines and stimulate new growth and profitability within assigned markets.
• Contribute to business growth by generating new accounts while also developing and maintaining existing ones; act as the primary communication link between the customer and nVent.
• Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or marketing, or equivalent OEM account management/sales experience.
• Ideally, over 5 years of experience in technical account management/sales within the electrical or industrial sector.
• Extensive background in selling to various customer types, including distributors, integrators/consultants, engineers, and end users/OEMs.
• Experience should encompass at least 5 years of leading technical sales or account management with OEM accounts.
• Proficient in utilizing Salesforce.com effectiveness tools and techniques (e.g., customer segmentation, territory management, technology tools such as CRM and mobile technologies, sales force time management).
• Proven abilities to foster long-term, sustainable, value-driven relationships with core accounts that enhance revenue potential and brand equity.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills by collaborating with others to reach conclusions through compromise, persuasion, influence, rationale, and diplomacy in both internal and external selling contexts.
• Proven capacity to develop and leverage partnerships to drive strategic initiatives.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced business changes and thrive in a dynamic working environment.
• Capability to work entirely from a home office located anywhere in the western US and travel approximately 30-50% of the time.
• A valid driver's license is required.
