This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• As a Key Account Manager, you will be tasked with building and nurturing strategic customer relationships, collaborating closely with our internal specialist departments to effectively implement customized energy solutions.
• Take ownership of and cultivate strategic relationships with property owners, asset holders, industrial firms, project developers, and operators of commercial properties.
• Oversee the complete sales process – from needs analysis to successful contract closure.
• Consult with companies on long-term onsite Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and contracting solutions, working with our internal specialists to formulate economically optimal energy concepts.
• Evaluate energy needs and business models to create economically viable solution concepts.
• Prepare and present business cases along with profitability analyses.
• Engage in sales and contract negotiations at the decision-maker level.
• Maintain your sales pipeline and document all customer interactions transparently within our CRM system.
• Collaborate closely with project development, planning, and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of customer projects.
• Identify new locations, expansion opportunities, and cross-selling prospects within current customer organizations.
• Formulate long-term account strategies and forge strategic customer partnerships.
• Discover new business opportunities and market potential within the energy sector.
• Support complex energy and infrastructure projects from the initial concept through to execution.
• Prepare forecasts, sales reports, and market analyses.
• Actively contribute to shaping our sales and market strategy while representing GIGA.GREEN at events and conferences.
• A degree in business, energy economics, engineering, or a comparable field.
• Experience in complex B2B sales or key account management – ideally in the energy, real estate, industrial, or construction sectors, or in selling technically complex capital goods or project-based services.
• Proven experience in selling technically intricate products or project-based services.
• A solid understanding of energy markets, energy projects, or renewable energy is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a confident demeanor when engaging with decision-makers.
• Ability to develop and present business cases and profitability analyses persuasively.
• A structured and independent work style, coupled with a strong focus on customer service and solutions.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and a passion for establishing long-term customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel within Germany for customer visits, site meetings, and events.
