This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Build and nurture relationships within a customer's hierarchy by utilizing company resources and expertise that span multiple functions.
• Identify customer challenges that present opportunities where we can provide immediate solutions to address their problems.
• Increase share of wallet by leveraging additional company packaging offerings throughout the customer's business.
• Recognize the significance of sustainability and recycling initiatives for our customers and the markets they operate in.
• Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews with your customer to evaluate progress towards shared goals and targets, along with determining next steps.
• Negotiate long-term agreements that maximize margins while promoting unit growth and increasing top-line revenue.
• Possess a strong sales hunter mentality with a passion for success and achievement.
• Articulate and defend the value proposition that you and Mauser deliver to the customer.
• Achieve proficiency in the company's Salesforce CRM and Power BI, using them effectively within your area of responsibility.
• Proactively develop pricing strategies and emphasize the importance of managing material cost changes and the value that Mauser offers.
• Collaborate across the organization to identify and support initiatives aimed at standardizing or reducing costs and waste.
• Assist in SIOP to manage sales volume, product mix, and pricing by staying informed about supply and demand, emerging trends, economic indicators, and competitor strategies.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing industry publications, building personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to team achievements by delivering related results in a timely manner.
• This position requires travel of up to 60% of the time.
• BA/BS in Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or Communications.
• Strong background in Sales and the Packaging industry.
• Proven track record of delivering year-over-year growth.
• Proficient with CRM tools for effective territory and customer management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze customer trends, financials, and data to make strategic recommendations for customer management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a large and complex customer base.
• At least 7 years of direct sales experience with a proven record of achieving results.
