This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulates a growth strategy aimed at profitable sales of AGI’s products and services to both existing and prospective customers, incorporating specific plans to achieve both short-term and long-term profitability.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned Strategic Enterprise customer accounts, focusing on meeting revenue objectives and providing exceptional customer service.
• Establishes and nurtures positive relationships with customers at all organizational levels, influencing decision-makers across various functions (engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing) to foster rapport and identify new business opportunities.
• Implements sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Comprehends customer business strategies, decision-making processes, and corporate cultures to facilitate negotiations and secure new business opportunities.
• Assists AGI's global regions by identifying opportunities within assigned customer accounts.
• Delivers sales presentations, conducts Quarterly Business Reviews, and oversees the preparation of bid proposals and quotes.
• Collects and disseminates competitive intelligence to relevant internal teams and supports customer retention by monitoring competitive situations and proposing counterstrategies to defend and increase market share.
• Proficiently utilizes all CRM and business tools to communicate and update internal stakeholders regarding account activities.
• Proactively collaborates with the AGI team to leverage superior product and technical expertise for Enterprise accounts.
• Aids in the formulation of the sales and marketing budget and ensures compliance with budgetary figures.
• Prepares and maintains sales reports, forecasts, and customer data.
• Monitors, submits, and audits sales transactions while addressing customer concerns as required.
• Enhances the Company's positive image and supports both regional and national trade shows and marketing efforts.
• Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in selling engineered products to large enterprise customer accounts, ideally within the agricultural, construction, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Demonstrated success in developing client relationships, driving sales, and increasing market share.
• Strong negotiation and analytical selling skills are essential, including experience in prospecting, quoting, closing profitable new business, and negotiating substantial contracts and long-term agreements.
• The preferred candidate will possess at least 1.5 years of professional experience in the agriculture sector, particularly in roles related to grain handling, processing, or equipment solutions.
• Strong leadership abilities with a talent for leading through influence, motivating and aligning internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to achieve common goals without direct authority.
• Willingness and ability to travel 40% of the time.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM platforms.
