Key Account Director, Nephrology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive the adoption of products within targeted dialysis organizations, hospital-based dialysis programs, large physician groups, Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities, and Indian Health Services (IHS).

• Create and maintain comprehensive account profiles.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of therapies administered in dialysis.

• Assess the specific clinical, operational, and economic requirements of dialysis providers.

• Engage with dialysis clinic administrators, medical directors, pharmacy leaders, and formulary decision-makers.

• Formulate and implement account-specific business strategies for all targeted accounts.

• Collaboratively work with Zone Directors, Area Business Directors, MSLs, and other cross-functional colleagues in the field.

• Collaborate with the National Key Account Director and Managed Markets leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree with over 8 years of experience working with dialysis organizations, nephrology practices, hospital-based dialysis programs, VA, IHS, and/or Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).

• Strong preference for experience engaging with medium-sized, independent, hospital-based, and national dialysis providers.

• Background in contracting and account management, including negotiation and implementation of agreements.

• In-depth knowledge of reimbursement, payer dynamics, and coverage considerations within the renal/dialysis sector.

• Experience in collaborating with marketing, medical, field teams, and market access functions.

• Familiarity with EMR systems, dialysis unit workflows, and the development of order sets/protocols.

• Preferred experience in renal, nephrology, or dialysis-related therapeutics.

• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time.
