Junior/Semi-Senior Cold-Fusion Developer – Security and Safety Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot existing ColdFusion (CFML) web applications.

• Write, optimize, and resolve issues with SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.

• Develop and integrate frontend components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Identify and fix application bugs, technical challenges, and production errors.

• Assist in the refactoring, modernization, or migration of legacy ColdFusion applications.

• Integrate RESTful and SOAP web services into CFML applications.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and estimation.

• Utilize Git for version control and maintain precise technical documentation.

• Contribute to peer code reviews and uphold high code quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with ColdFusion (CFML), Adobe ColdFusion, or Lucee.

• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL query development and optimization.

• Experience in integrating HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with ColdFusion applications.

• Capability to debug, maintain, and enhance legacy codebases.

• Comprehension of web application architecture, including request/response lifecycle, sessions, and forms.

• Proficient in English for daily interactions with the client team.

• Junior level: 1–2 years of ColdFusion experience.

• Semi-Senior level: 3–5 years of ColdFusion experience.

• Junior candidates should be able to deliver guided bug fixes and small features.

• Semi-Senior candidates must be able to independently deliver features, troubleshoot production issues, and engage in code reviews.
