Junior/Middle Ruby on Rails Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the professional team to investigate and resolve product issues, with a focus on preventing future occurrences.

• Automate routine customer requests and repetitive operations to enhance efficiency.

• Continuously enhance knowledge of supported products while exploring new technologies and domains.

• Provide support and improvements for backend systems utilized by operators and players on the Casino Platform.

• Develop internal tools and automation to optimize technical workflows and bolster platform stability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in development or Level 3 support.

• Proficient programming skills in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.

• Solid understanding of SQL.

• Outstanding skills in investigation, debugging, analysis, and problem-solving.

• Knowledge of modern web architecture and networking principles.

• Familiarity with Linux, Bash, and Git.

• A commitment to continuous self-improvement and knowledge sharing with the team.

• Proficient in English and Russian at an intermediate level or higher (B1+).

• Awareness of contemporary AI tools.

• Nice to have: Experience with logging systems such as ELK, monitoring systems like Sentry and Datadog, and the ability to interpret log files or error traces.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with event streaming systems and message brokers.

• Nice to have: Experience working with Kubernetes (K8s).

• Nice to have: Skills in automating routine tasks through scripting and/or tools like Jenkins or Airflow.
