Junior Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Deliver features from start to finish: design, develop, and test small, well-defined enhancements to our products.

• Ensure reliability and speed: address bugs, implement tests, and add instrumentation to our code for performance and stability measurement.

• Address real customer challenges: work alongside Product, Design, and Solutions teams to define straightforward, pragmatic solutions that benefit our clients.

• Enhance developer experience: assist in creating examples, documentation, and minor tools that facilitate seamless and enjoyable integration with our SDKs.

• Approach problems from fundamental principles: decompose issues, evaluate trade-offs, and select the simplest effective solution.

• Embrace learning openly: engage in code reviews (both giving and receiving feedback), collaborate with teammates, and share your learning experiences.

• Take ownership of your work: organize your tasks, update on progress, and ensure high-quality releases.

• Influence our development process: aid in refining our CI, testing suites, and local development scripts as we grow.

⛳️ Requirements

• A true passion for AI and AI-assisted coding — this is essential.

• Strong problem-solving skills: you can decompose tasks, reason from first principles, and convey trade-offs clearly.

• Dependability and commitment: you adhere to agreed timelines, communicate promptly if encountering obstacles, and deliver quality results.

• Receptiveness to feedback: you are coachable, inquisitive, and adapt based on insights gained.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

• Consistent and reliable internet access for remote work.

• Having side projects, a small repository, contributions to open-source, or documentation showcasing your learning is advantageous.

• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, basic APIs/HTTP, or simple databases (SQL/NoSQL) is beneficial.

• Experience with mobile or web SDKs is a plus (we support iOS, Android, and Web).

• An interest in sports, media, or content technology is desirable.

• Backgrounds that have thrived include mathematics, physics, bootcamps, and self-directed learning— a Computer Science degree is not a prerequisite.
