Junior Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Deliver features from start to finish: design, develop, and test small, well-defined enhancements to our offerings.

• Ensure reliability and speed: address bugs, implement tests, and add instrumentation to analyze performance and stability.

• Address real customer challenges: collaborate with Product, Design, and Solutions to define straightforward, effective solutions for our clients.

• Enhance developer experience: create examples, documentation, and small utilities that facilitate smooth and enjoyable integration with our SDKs.

• Approach problems with foundational thinking: decompose issues, evaluate trade-offs, and choose the simplest effective solution.

• Embrace open learning: engage in code reviews (both giving and receiving feedback), collaborate with teammates, and share your insights.

• Take ownership of your projects: organize your tasks, keep stakeholders informed of progress, and ensure high-quality releases.

• Influence our development practices: assist in refining our continuous integration, testing suites, and local development scripts as we grow.

⛳️ Requirements

• A genuine enthusiasm for AI and AI-assisted coding — this is essential.

• Strong problem-solving skills: capable of breaking down tasks, reasoning from first principles, and articulating trade-offs clearly.

• Dependability and follow-through: you adhere to agreed timelines, communicate proactively if you encounter obstacles, and deliver results effectively.

• Willingness to accept feedback: you are coachable, inquisitive, and continuously adapt based on what you learn.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

• Consistent and reliable internet access for remote work is required.

• Side projects, a small repository, open-source contributions, or documentation showcasing your learning process are advantageous.

• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, basic APIs/HTTP, or simple databases (SQL/NoSQL) is desirable.

• Experience with mobile or web SDKs is a bonus (we support iOS, Android, and Web).

• An interest in sports, media, or content technology is a plus.

• Successful candidates have diverse backgrounds, including mathematics, physics, coding bootcamps, and self-taught paths— a Computer Science degree is not mandatory.
