Junior Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, design, and present briefings, presentations, and geospatial products for training and demonstration purposes.

• Assist in training activities and demonstrations as per client specifications.

• Conduct customer outreach and address inquiries regarding geospatial technologies and offerings.

• Diagnose technical issues and provide suitable assistance or recommendations.

• Present technical demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.

• Effectively convey technical geospatial information to members of the Homeland Security community.

• Investigate geospatial and technical data as needed and share findings to meet customer requirements.

• Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to create impactful training and outreach materials.

• Aid in the preparation and upkeep of technical documentation, presentations, and outreach materials.

• Maintain a professional and customer-centric demeanor when engaging with government clients and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Geospatial Science, Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Information Technology, Communications, or a related discipline.

• Two years of specialized experience in geospatial technologies, training, technical outreach, customer support, or a related area.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to create and deliver clear, engaging presentations and technical demonstrations.

• Proficiency in conveying technical geospatial information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong problem-solving and research capabilities.

• Competence in troubleshooting technical challenges and providing effective solutions.

• Ability to collaborate successfully with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

• Willingness to undergo the government-mandated background investigation process.

• Preferred: A master's degree in Geospatial Science, Geography, GIS, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting federal government or Homeland Security programs.

• Preferred: Background in developing geospatial products or training materials.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS or other geospatial technologies.

• Preferred: Experience in conducting technical demonstrations or customer outreach.

• Preferred: Knowledge of geospatial data, mapping, and GIS concepts.

• Preferred: Experience in a government contracting environment.

• Preferred: Security clearance or eligibility for federal clearance.
