Junior Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct automated testing in a staging environment to ensure applications operate correctly according to established requirements.

• Create, execute, and sustain test automation scripts utilizing the tools and technologies chosen for the project.

• Assist in the identification, reproduction, documentation, and tracking of defects and discrepancies discovered during testing.

• Perform functional and regression testing to verify corrections and new features in the system.

• Utilize knowledge of programming logic and object-oriented programming to design and uphold automated tests.

• Aid in validating business processes, enhancing the quality and dependability of the developed solutions.

• Collaborate closely with development and quality assurance teams to analyze issues and confirm solutions.

• Record test scenarios, outcomes, and evidence from completed test runs.

• Implement technologies like Java and Selenium for test automation as required by the project.

• Investigate artificial intelligence tools and resources that can enhance productivity and refine testing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with programming logic.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming.

• Currently enrolled in a higher education program in an IT-related discipline.

• Knowledge of telecommunications business processes (preferred).

• Understanding of test automation (preferred).

• Proficiency in Java (preferred).

• Familiarity with Selenium (preferred).

• Awareness of artificial intelligence (preferred).
