Junior SQL, SSIS Developer – ETL, BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and oversee ETL processes using SSIS.

• Develop and enhance SQL queries for relational database systems.

• Support database modeling and ongoing maintenance tasks.

• Track data loading activities, identify issues, and recommend solutions.

• Record documentation for data processes, workflows, and integrations.

• Work in collaboration with BI teams and teams managing legacy systems.

• Engage in efforts to continuously enhance performance and data quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL, including SELECT statements, JOINs, functions, views, and stored procedures.

• Fundamental understanding of ETL and data integration, ideally with SSIS.

• Familiarity with relational database systems, such as SQL Server or equivalents.

• Capability to assess problems and suggest straightforward, objective solutions.

• Desire to learn and grow within the data and BI sectors.

• Practical experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is an advantage.

• Basic understanding of dimensional modeling in data warehousing and BI is a plus.

• Prior experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc., is a plus.

• Background in corporate settings or academic data projects is beneficial.
