Junior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Participate in the creation and enhancement of tracking and notification services.

• Develop, review, and deploy code that operates at a high volume in production environments.

• Collaborate with the engineering team on design choices, code evaluations, and daily troubleshooting.

• Work alongside a distributed, global team spanning product, engineering, and operations.

• Engage with microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native development on AWS.

• Incorporate AI tools into your daily development processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms, clean coding practices, and version control.

• Practical experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including formulating real queries and considering data management.

• A genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn and solve problems.

• Passion for utilizing AI as a development resource and integral part of the products created.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• A degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or PHP is a plus.

• Experience with cloud services or distributed systems through projects, internships, or personal endeavors is advantageous.

• Relevant knowledge of PostgreSQL, Aurora, Redshift, DynamoDB, AWS, Serverless Framework, Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions is beneficial for the tech stack.
