Junior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the advancement and enhancement of tracking and notification services.

• Write, review, and deploy high-volume production code.

• Collaborate with engineers on design choices, code evaluations, and daily problem-solving.

• Work alongside a distributed international team encompassing product, engineering, and operations.

• Develop using microservices, event-driven architectures, and AWS cloud-native solutions.

• Incorporate AI tools into daily development workflows.

• Engage in a hiring process that includes application evaluations, an introductory call, a technical interview, and a practical coding exercise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid grounding in software engineering principles: data structures, algorithms, clean coding practices, and version control.

• Practical experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including the ability to write actual queries and analyze data.

• A genuine curiosity and capability to explore unfamiliar challenges.

• A passion for utilizing AI as a development tool and integrating it into the product.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (preferred but not mandatory).

• Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, or PHP (preferred).

• Experience with cloud services or distributed systems from projects, internships, or personal endeavors (preferred).

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Aurora, Redshift, DynamoDB, AWS, Serverless Framework, Git, GitHub, or GitHub Actions is advantageous for the specified technology environment.
