Junior SharePoint Engineer, Power BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage the collaboration and reporting framework for a dynamic technical organization that directly supports the warfighter.

• Architect site structures, information architecture, and permission models within SharePoint Online.

• Create modern sites, communication hubs, and document libraries utilizing metadata, content types, and retention policies.

• Develop SPFx web parts or integrate Power Apps when out-of-the-box solutions are inadequate.

• Construct production-grade semantic models, write efficient DAX, and design clear, decision-ready dashboards.

• Manage workspaces with appropriate deployment pipelines, row-level security, and refresh schedules.

• Transform raw data into visualizations that senior leaders depend on for decision-making.

• Collaborate with the Data Engineering and Power Platform teams for effective data integration and governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Secret clearance is required, with the capability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.

• At least 2 years of combined hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and Power BI in enterprise settings.

• Proven experience in architecting SharePoint Online, including site collections, hubs, information architecture, content types, and permission models.

• Strong skills in Power BI, including semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query (M), workspace administration, deployment pipelines, and row-level security.

• Experience integrating SharePoint and Power BI within the broader Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystem.

• Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PnP PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph.

• Experience working in a governed environment with DLP policies, sensitivity labels, and tenant-level administration.
