This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create innovative business intelligence solutions utilizing SQL, views, and stored procedures.
• Generate reports, dashboards, and customized files for both internal and external clients.
• Establish routines for data summarization, queries, data cubes, and data reporting templates.
• Implement production tasks and processes within the Business Intelligence Department in a mortgage servicing context.
• Design scalable processes to produce reports, files, dashboards, and data cubes based on business needs.
• Develop and oversee process-driven solutions in a Windows and Microsoft SQL Server environment.
• Create queries, reports, files, dashboards, and more within the Microsoft Windows and Microsoft SQL Server framework.
• Maintain and enhance a scalable BI process utilizing queries, reports, files, data marts, dashboards, etc.
• Manage and sustain an automated production environment through the use of stored procedures.
• Collaborate with fellow developers to design and uphold scalable processes and best practices.
• Work together with other departments on the timing and specifics of the development cycle.
• Ensure adherence to quality control best practices.
• Maintain a seamless and scalable BI development lifecycle.
• Provide recommendations and develop best practices for BI presentation layers, including stand-alone reports, dashboards, and self-service/drill-through tools.
• Balance and manage workload; oversee efficiency and timeliness of deliverables.
• Partner with other departments to address Business Intelligence needs and enhancements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in information systems and/or technical operations.
• More than 5 years of demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence, IS, or MIS domains.
• At least 5 years of proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server tools, including queries and stored procedures.
• SQL programming experience is essential.
• Familiarity with managing and supporting a BI or IS production environment.
• Experience in the financial sector, particularly in the credit/mortgage industry.
• Background in servicing mortgage or other credit products.
• Experience with MSP or other mortgage platforms is preferred.
• Strong resource management and leadership abilities; capable of organizing and motivating others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, organize, prioritize, and address issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines effectively.
