Junior Security Consultant – PCI, QSA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in the examination of audit documentation and evidence while evaluating client procedures.

• Draft, review, and approve assessment reports.

• Coordinate project priorities, tasks, and hours alongside the project manager to meet utilization targets.

• Ensure timely delivery of quality products and services.

• Promptly escalate client and project issues to management to involve necessary resources for resolution.

• Maintain communication with clients throughout the project, interacting with all levels of the client organization.

• Build and sustain positive, collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Commit to continuous professional development by keeping industry-specific certifications up to date.

• Retain comprehensive knowledge of the field.

• Work together with project managers, quality management, sales, and other delivery team members to enhance client satisfaction and fulfill project requirements.

• Anticipate travel of up to 5% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of PCI DSS security standards.

• Proven ability to thrive in a remote work environment.

• Strong understanding of IT, encompassing networks, servers, workstations, and applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capability to convey technical topics to non-technical audiences.

• Consulting skills when engaging with executive leadership and technical professionals.

• Capacity to rapidly establish high-trust, credible relationships.

• Exceptional attention to detail, alongside strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage numerous initiatives and projects.

• Self-driven, exhibiting strong independent initiative.

• Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Proficiency in Spanish.

• Ability to create documentation, presentations, and reports in another language.

• Possession of PCI ISA, PCI Professional, and former QSA certifications.

• One of the following information security certifications is mandatory: CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

• One of the following auditing certifications is required: CISA, GSNA, CIA, IRCA ISMS Auditor or higher, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field such as computer engineering, networking, or computer science.
