Head of Infrastructure Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the Infrastructure Security team, ensuring distinct ownership, accountability, and effective execution.

• Establish and propel the Infrastructure Security strategy, roadmap, standards, and operating framework.

• Prioritize team initiatives according to security risks, business impact, engineering capacity, and regulatory obligations.

• Provide guidance on security across various infrastructure environments, including cloud platforms, Kubernetes, endpoints, privileged access management, remote access, and vulnerability management.

• Develop scalable processes for risk prioritization, tracking remediation, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams to integrate security measures early and enhance execution.

• Clearly articulate infrastructure security risks, priorities, trade-offs, and progress to both technical teams and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, including leadership and management of technical security teams.

• Robust background in Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, or Platform Security.

• Proven ability to translate security objectives into concrete roadmaps, priorities, ownership structures, and measurable results.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in coaching, delegation, providing feedback, and team development.

• Skilled in influencing stakeholders and driving change across cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication abilities to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Proficient in Russian at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Experience in securing infrastructure within high-risk or regulated sectors such as iGaming, Crypto, FinTech, or similar fields.

• Proven track record in evolving a security function from reactive measures to a structured, scalable security program.

• Experience leading distributed or entirely remote technical teams.

• Practical experience with Zero Trust models, secure remote access, AWS, OCI, and Google Workspace Security.

• Familiarity with the security of digital asset or cryptocurrency infrastructure.
