Junior SAP Basis Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the administration of SAP Basis on both Linux and Windows platforms in ABAP and Java environments.

• Responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, optimization, and administration of SAP databases, specifically Oracle.

• In charge of planning and executing SAP installations, upgrades, enhancement packages (EHPs), kernel updates, as well as system and client copies.

• Conducting monitoring, error analysis, and resolution while ensuring continuous performance enhancement.

• Guaranteeing the smooth operation of SAP as part of 2nd and 3rd level support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed university degree or equivalent IT training, in addition to relevant professional experience.

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in related fields.

• Solid expertise in operating with various operating systems, including Windows and Linux.

• Proficient knowledge in database administration, particularly with Oracle, HANA, and Sybase.

• Experience with the use and implementation of SAP Solution Manager.

• Strong technical comprehension accompanied by analytical skills.

• Excellent proficiency in the German language.
