This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and staffing strategies for proposals.
• Manage the complete recruiting cycle: from intake and sourcing to screening, interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer coordination.
• Proactively source candidates through various channels, including job boards, referrals, and niche/clearance communities; quickly create shortlists for priority requisitions.
• Conduct structured phone screenings and competency-based interviews; document notes and scorecards in Lever ATS to facilitate consistent and timely decision-making.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for upcoming projects and proposals (contingent staffing); categorize talent pools and implement nurture campaigns in Lever.
• Assist in hiring for cleared and public-trust positions (Public Trust, NACI; Secret+ is advantageous), collaborating with security and HR on adjudication processes.
• Keep hiring managers informed with weekly updates regarding pipeline status, time-to-slate, and any risks or obstacles.
• Advocate for a positive candidate experience through timely communications, clear expectations, and constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with EEO/OFCCP regulations and maintain audit-ready data; keep requisition and candidate records organized and produce weekly KPI dashboards.
• 2–3 years of experience in in-house or agency recruiting (in-house preferred) for VA, HHS, DHA, or broader Federal Health programs.
• Proficient in recruiting for both technical and non-technical roles in the GovCon industry, with an understanding of Federal contracting nuances (clearances, billable vs. overhead roles, contingent offers, rapid surge hiring) and strong sourcing abilities (Boolean search strings, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals management/coordination).
• Familiarity with EEO laws and OFCCP regulations and requirements.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, high-accountability environment.
• A warm, professional, and personable communicator who quickly establishes positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Energetic and proactive worker who consistently follows through, acts swiftly, and keeps stakeholders updated.
• A positive, solutions-oriented mindset accompanied by a strong customer service approach.
• Team-oriented attitude with proven reliability, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and obtain a government clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in recruitment.
