This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assess requirements and technical documentation to develop, maintain, and implement thorough test scenarios and cases.
• Validate pension-related calculations, business rules, and system functionalities.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA Leads to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and assist in defect resolution.
• Recognize risks, report defects, monitor testing progress, and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions on schedule.
• Share expertise with team members, foster knowledge development, and promote a culture centered on quality and continuous enhancement.
• Assist in the onboarding and transition of new clients to TELUS Health’s Defined Contribution Pension solutions.
• A minimum of 1 year of Quality Assurance experience or equivalent gained through internships or co-op programs.
• A university degree or college diploma in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong and confident communication skills with the ability to engage in discussions regarding logical errors with engineering teams.
• High adaptability and swift learning capabilities regarding new enterprise software tools.
• Outstanding mental math and logical reasoning abilities.
• Self-motivated and comfortable dealing with ambiguity while proactively seeking clarification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to apply structured thinking to intricate testing scenarios.
• Familiarity with pension workflows and business processes is a valuable asset.
• Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management and defect tracking is a plus.
• Knowledge of Selenium and Java scripting is a plus.
• Experience with test automation is beneficial; maintaining existing scripts is preferred and creating new scripts is an additional asset.
• Team members whose roles require work at a Data Center or access to detailed client-service technology knowledge will undergo Personnel Security Screening through the Government of Canada.
