Junior Post-Production Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Analyze non-linear editing (NLE) workflows and validate AI-driven instructions for advanced trimming, console-based editing, and efficient bin management within Lightworks.

• Investigate post-production processes, focusing on specialized features such as the Shark console, multi-camera capabilities, and VFX routing in the Lightworks platform.

• Assess AI recommendations regarding media formats and codec compliance to ensure seamless delivery for AVID/ProTools interchange and XML/EDL exports.

• Validate AI-generated user interface (UI) guidelines, particularly concerning the fixed and flexible layout options distinctive to Lightworks.

• Identify and resolve intricate project-sharing and metadata challenges, providing feedback to enhance the AI system’s understanding.

• Ensure AI accurately represents workflows involving proxy media, local and linked files, along with advanced media management techniques.

• Confirm the correct application of node-based effects and LUT adjustments within Lightworks projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Lightworks, emphasizing rapid, keyboard-centric editing workflows.

• Comprehensive experience in video production, editing, and composition within professional or high-volume environments.

• Thorough understanding of link-based versus local media workflows and proxy management in the Lightworks ecosystem.

• Strong abilities in advanced VFX, color grading, and the implementation of node-based effects.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, including metadata discrepancies and challenges in collaborative projects.

• Familiarity with industry-standard delivery formats, interchange protocols, and workflow optimization techniques.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to achieving outstanding post-production results.

• Prior experience as a junior film editor, post-production specialist, or video producer with significant use of Lightworks is preferred.

• Practical knowledge of multi-camera editing and advanced console operations, including the Shark console, in Lightworks is advantageous.

• Experience with AI tools or involvement in evaluation processes related to media production is beneficial.
