Junior Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Under supervision, assess and review contracts, legal documents, and court agreements, ensuring clauses and terms are scrutinized to enhance clients' positions and reduce risks in default scenarios;

• Prepare initial petitions/complaints, defenses/answers, appeals, and other procedural documents under the guidance of mid-level (Pleno) or senior attorneys, adhering to procedural deadlines and formal criteria;

• Conduct initial client intake, gathering pertinent information for case management and providing advice on legal procedures;

• Execute asset searches (asset tracing) aimed at debt recovery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Law with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);

• At least 6 months of experience through internships or practical work in law firms or legal departments;

• Proficiency in civil law and civil procedure, legal research, drafting and preparing procedural documents, managing deadlines and cases, negotiation skills, and professional ethics.
