This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with customers at all levels, ranging from technical project teams to senior management.
• Assess and prioritize the specific requirements of customers.
• Create, coordinate, and execute targeted sales strategies.
• Grow existing key accounts with the aim of achieving sustainable revenue growth in the automotive sector.
• Discover new business opportunities and applications within the automotive industry.
• Position customized solutions that provide clear value to the customer.
• Monitor and evaluate market trends and competitor activities.
• Maintain close customer relationships by actively participating in trade fairs, conferences, and industry events.
• Oversee and coordinate multiple customer projects in close collaboration with internal teams.
• Independently plan and organize personal sales activities from a home office.
• Participate in regular alignment meetings in Kortrijk (BE) or Bayreuth (DE).
• A completed technical or business degree, or vocational training along with relevant further education.
• Initial professional experience in capital goods sales, project management, or business development.
• Knowledge of the automation and/or automotive industries, as well as experience selling complex technical products.
• Proficient in Dutch, German, and English.
• High levels of self-initiative, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and results.
• Ability to comprehend complex systems and swiftly identify customer needs.
• Strong sales skills and competence in proactive market development.
• Excellent communication skills and empathy when interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the sales region (3–4 days per week).
• Residing in the Netherlands or western Germany, or a willingness to relocate.
