This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist in the monthly closing process by generating reports, monitoring deliverables, and facilitating a seamless and timely close.
• Evaluate the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows to gain insights into business performance and pinpoint key drivers.
• Create comprehensive variance analyses that compare actual results to forecasts and prior periods, accompanied by insightful commentary.
• Collaborate closely with the Accounting team to ensure that financial information is both complete and accurate.
• Work with various teams throughout the organization to collect assumptions and integrate upcoming initiatives into budgets and forecasts.
• Enhance recurring reports and identify opportunities for process automation or simplification.
• Assist in semiannual budgeting and ongoing monthly forecasts.
• Maintain and refine financial models utilized for planning and reporting purposes.
• Analyze business trends and articulate changes in financial performance.
• Prepare regular analyses that support planning and decision-making processes.
• Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial presentations for leadership and external stakeholders.
• Assist with ad-hoc analyses and enhance finance processes, reporting, and workflows.
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, with a solid understanding of fundamental finance principles.
• 2–4 years of experience in an FP&A, accounting, or a comparable finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience in financial modeling, including three-statement financial models, is preferred.
• Familiarity with enterprise accounting software such as NetSuite is preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace is a plus.
• Experience with databases such as SQL is advantageous.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
