Junior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of, maintain, and enhance the company's financial models.

• Collect, cleanse, and verify data from diverse sources and teams.

• Ensure datasets for reporting, modeling, and analysis are accurate and up to date.

• Manage ongoing data preparation and reporting tasks related to the company's debt facility.

• Leverage AI to write and debug scripts, automate recurring workflows, and optimize data pipelines.

• Assist in capital raising efforts and investor due diligence processes.

• Analyze both financial and operational performance metrics.

• Create reports, presentations, and investment documentation.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling activities.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

• Collaborate effectively with finance and other business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Transaction Advisory.

• Degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Strong skills in financial modeling.

• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suites, including Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, and PowerPoint/Slides.

• Practical experience using AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT for writing and debugging code and scripts, including Google Apps Script.

• Background in automating workflows and developing tools that minimize manual tasks.

• Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability for accuracy, recurring deliverables, and meeting deadlines.

• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

• Eagerness to learn and implement new technologies.

• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Capable of conveying complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

• Competent in coordinating across teams and different time zones.

• CPA/CFA studies are considered advantageous but are not mandatory.

• Must disclose any existing ongoing roles or client engagements.
