Junior Engineering – Installation Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Assist installation teams by engaging in hands-on field tasks, which include moving equipment, lifting, staging, and positioning.

• Aid in unpacking, organizing, and distributing equipment and materials at various installation locations.

• Contribute to basic installation procedures for racks, cabling, antennas, and grounding systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.

• Execute routing, pulling, labeling, and securing of cables as instructed by senior personnel.

• Participate in site preparation, housekeeping, cleaning, and waste management activities.

• Facilitate logistics tasks, such as conducting equipment inventory checks and tracking materials.

• Support installation teams during testing, startup, and acceptance processes as required.

• Capture photographs and assist with the preparation of daily and weekly reports on installation progress.

• Adhere to all safety, security, quality, and FAA operational guidelines at all times.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• 0-2 years of experience or a strong enthusiasm for technical fieldwork, construction, or equipment installation.

• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, which involve lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, working at heights, and operating in confined spaces.

• Willingness to work outdoors, in radar rooms, and at active operational sites.

• Ability to adhere to instructions, safety protocols, and technical guidance provided by senior staff.

• Strong work ethic, dependability, and eagerness to acquire new technical skills.

• Willingness and capability to travel to FAA sites across the country.

• US Citizenship is required to successfully complete a government background investigation.
