Junior Data Engineer – ODS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and maintenance of ETL/ELT processes

• Execute and monitor batch processes for data loading

• Perform queries and data validations using SQL

• Analyze logs to identify errors in loading processes

• Support in identifying inconsistencies and discrepancies in information

• Execute data reprocessing following established procedures

• Assist in addressing and resolving incidents related to ODS processes

• Conduct quality and integrity validations of data

• Provide support in executing scheduled Jobs and processes

• Create technical documentation for processes and procedures

• Aid in the automation of repetitive tasks

• Coordinate with Senior teams, QA, development, and infrastructure as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Intermediate SQL proficiency

• Oracle — preferred

• Basic to intermediate PL/SQL

• Experience with queries, joins, subqueries, and functions

• Basic understanding of Stored Procedures

• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts

• Familiarity with data integration concepts

• Batch processing experience

• Basic understanding of ODS concepts

• Data validation and quality assurance skills

• Experience with data files and structures

• IBM DataStage — preferred

• Control-M — preferred

• Oracle GoldenGate — preferred

• Experience with Grafana or other monitoring tools — preferred

• Jira — preferred

• Git — preferred

• Basic to intermediate Python skills

• Shell scripting / Unix — preferred

• 1 to 2 years of experience in development, data integration, application support, or related roles

• Experience in executing SQL queries and validating information

• Preferred experience in ETL processes or integration tools
