Lead Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Design and develop a robust, enterprise-grade data platform.

• Drive architectural decisions for Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and other components of the modern data stack.

• Establish access controls, CI/CD pipelines, versioning, and ensure data quality checks are in place.

• Implement data observability practices.

• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights.

• Mentor the technical team and act as a primary expert.

• Influence the organization-wide data culture and platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in building enterprise-scale data systems.

• Proficiency in data infrastructure.

• Experience with DevOps practices for data.

• Familiarity with modern engineering workflows, including CI/CD and Git.

• Comprehensive knowledge of data governance, security, and data quality at scale.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.

• Familiarity with Power BI.

• Background in cloud data ecosystems.

• Hands-on, collaborative working style.

• Capability to create clean, efficient, and scalable systems.
