This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Oversee the design, development, validation, and documentation of data remediation strategies and analytical techniques that support AI/ML solutions.
• Ensure that data strategies are in alignment with the LESA Data Quality Potential Error Inventory and relevant DHS/ICE policies.
• Create AI and machine learning models to identify, correct, and avert data quality challenges.
• Leverage cleaned and annotated datasets from ongoing remediation initiatives.
• Manage the integration of AI-driven models, automation scripts, dashboards, and various data quality tools.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to pinpoint data quality issues, ascertain root causes, and suggest or implement corrective measures.
• Conduct user training and facilitate knowledge transfer regarding analytics and data quality procedures.
• Design, implement, and sustain enterprise data architecture for ICE law enforcement data systems, including EID, EAGLE, and EARM.
• Establish and enforce data standards, scalable data models, and governance frameworks.
• Align data strategies with operational needs, compliance requirements, and modernization objectives.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a closely related field.
• At least eight (8) years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or a related domain.
• Practical experience in designing and implementing analytical solutions within operational environments.
• Familiarity with advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and AI applied to real-world datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Databricks, and contemporary data analytics toolsets.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts in an understandable manner.
• Required: SECRET Security clearance or the capacity to secure one, as necessary for accessing sensitive data.
