Junior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of a data platform.

• Create data ingestion and transformation pipelines.

• Implement new API integrations, databases, and internal systems.

• Resolve failures and operational issues within existing pipelines.

• Engage in the support and monitoring of data environments.

• Develop technical documentation for the solutions created.

• Adhere to quality standards established by the team.

• Take part in code reviews.

• Contribute to data governance and cataloging efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Proficient in SQL at an intermediate level.

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python.

• Familiarity with Git tools, preferably GitFlow.

• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or similar platforms.

• Understanding of cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of dimensional modeling.

• Understanding of Data Warehouse, ETL/ELT, DataOps, and CI/CD principles.

• Experience in projects involving data platform structuring is advantageous.

• Previous experience in technology companies or the financial industry is a plus.
