This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Clean and standardize datasets in Excel, CSV, and Parquet formats utilizing Python and pandas.
• Reconcile Amazon claims with invoices, purchase orders, and payment records.
• Align inconsistent IDs while steering clear of unsupported or ambiguous matches.
• Categorize discrepancies using established recovery and reconciliation taxonomies.
• Develop pandas logic for checks on underpayments, multi-currency analysis, and reversal matching.
• Investigate unexpected outcomes and trace discrepancies back to their originating data.
• Write pytest/conformance tests to ensure the integrity of critical data-handling logic.
• Assess when incomplete data does not suffice for supporting a recovery claim.
• Process and analyze datasets containing millions of rows across around 170 vendor accounts.
• Produce accurate recovery reports in Excel, CSV, and PDF formats for non-technical clients.
• Integrate AI tools into the daily workflow while validating outputs and results.
• Aid in enhancing the reliability and repeatability of reconciliation procedures.
• Strong foundation in Python, including knowledge of files, lists, dictionaries, and data structures.
• Basic familiarity with pandas, encompassing filtering, merging, and aggregation tasks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to data validation.
• Capability to investigate data discrepancies and articulate the reasoning behind conclusions.
• Proficient written English for producing client-facing findings and reports.
• Comfortable utilizing AI tools to enhance coding, analysis, and problem-solving efforts.
• Eagerness to work with extensive and complex datasets.
• Capacity to make judicious decisions in situations where data is incomplete or ambiguous.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Familiarity with writing tests in pytest or another testing framework.
• Exposure to Amazon Vendor Central, chargebacks, deductions, or retail vendor operations.
• Experience in handling Excel, CSV, or Parquet data at scale.
• Involvement in academic or personal projects related to Python/data analysis.
