This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Collaborate in the development, analysis, review, and enhancement of credit policies, considering industry best practices and relevant regulations.
• Create statistical and mathematical models to assess default risk utilizing credit scoring, Machine Learning, and statistical analysis methodologies.
• Assist in the formulation of models aimed at quantifying the profitability of credit decisions.
• Engage in credit-granting decisions, providing recommendations for credit limits and payment terms.
• Oversee the execution of policies from both operational and performance viewpoints, evaluating indicators for new vintages.
• Perform periodic analyses of the portfolio to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Work together with the credit desk, collections, finance, and systems teams to ensure uniformity across policies and procedures.
• Create analytical reports and presentations for senior management and internal stakeholders.
• A bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in credit analysis and familiarity with credit policies.
• Proficient in handling large datasets.
• Knowledge of Python or R programming languages.
• Familiarity with credit analysis tools, statistical models, and credit management systems.
• Understanding of credit regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Prior experience in financial institutions is advantageous.
