Junior Consultant, Hazardous Materials Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create Safety Data Sheets and other hazard communication documents utilizing our proprietary system.

• Assess the classification and labeling of chemical substances and mixtures in accordance with current national and international regulations.

• Manage client relationships independently and provide expert advice.

• Respond to client inquiries regarding chemical legislation.

• Regularly review and monitor ongoing chemical regulatory requirements.

• Analyze and evaluate changes in chemical legislation as they pertain to clients’ products.

• Clearly and accessibly present complex chemical regulatory issues to clients and colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in a natural science discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Chemical Engineering.

• Alternatively, a completed vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Environmental Protection Technician, Laboratory Technician, or an equivalent qualification.

• A strong interest in and eagerness to acquire in-depth knowledge of chemical regulations and legal frameworks, such as REACH, CLP, and GHS.

• Initial practical experience with Safety Data Sheets, substance assessment, or Regulatory Affairs is a plus.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Familiarity with specialized software for the preparation of Safety Data Sheets is preferred.

• Excellent command of German, both written and spoken, along with good English language skills.

• Strong communication abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.

• Initial experience in consulting or customer support is preferred.
