This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in software development within an Agile iterative CI/CD framework.
• Advocate for and implement effective software engineering practices.
• Create and test full-stack .NET web applications utilizing C#, unit testing, NUnit, and deployment processes.
• Design and construct web-based applications leveraging cloud-native services and architecture.
• Collaborate with team members to address technical challenges.
• Document software designs, which include design diagrams, data flow diagrams, and descriptions of software modules.
• Efficiently resolve application defects.
• Ensure that application performance, quality, and responsiveness align with contractual SLA standards.
• Provide development support for solutions that are deployed to production.
• Utilize Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Implement sustainable long-term solutions and foundational components within the Agile framework.
• Participate in Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews and Demos, Retrospectives, and Risk meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, which requires US citizenship.
• Proficiency in system design and development using Microsoft .NET environment tools.
• Experience with .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Experience with relational databases including SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of RESTful and SOAP API development.
• Experience with XML and JSON.
• Proficient in using Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Knowledge of the Azure Cloud platform.
• Familiarity with AI/ML is an advantage.
• Experience with Section 508 and accessibility coding methodologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with a willingness to learn new technologies.
