This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee the software testing cycle, which includes executing test scenarios, managing configurations, and debugging code.
• Document significant software and hardware problems in vehicles such as cars and buses, and notify the relevant engineer.
• Determine the locations of issues and identify the responsible parties for their resolution.
• Ensure that cameras in vehicles are clean and maintain the overall physical condition of the cars and buses.
• Supervise all computers and hardware within the vehicles.
• Engage in visitor demonstrations and effectively communicate product details to attendees.
• Spend extended periods inside vehicles and perform some physical tasks.
• Be prepared for long-term travel to support international projects.
• Practical Engineer in any technical field.
• Hands-on experience with C++ or similar languages (code investigation) is a plus.
• Familiarity with git and docker is a plus.
• A valid driving license is required.
• Must be willing to conduct software testing and drive for at least 6 hours daily; this role primarily involves fieldwork in vehicles.
• Strong communication skills in both German and English (verbal and written).
• Capability to write clear and concise reports.
• Knowledge of the Autonomous Vehicle sector is advantageous.
• Must be willing to work and travel between sites in Israel and internationally.
• Willingness to undertake long-term assignments of 2–3 months at a customer's site overseas.
• The first month of training in Israel is mandatory!
