Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to develop robotic solutions for innovative applications.

• Act as a reliable technical advisor throughout the sales process.

• Oversee installations from start to finish by visiting customer locations.

• Install, program, and validate Standard Bots solutions on-site.

• Produce technical enablement materials, including sample code, application notes, and white papers.

• Work closely with in-house engineering to test and enhance new features and integrations.

• Create marketing materials that convey the benefits of Standard Bots solutions to potential clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preference for candidates located in Central Florida.

• Experienced and adept problem-solver with a customer-facing background.

• Practical experience with electrical, software, and mechanical systems.

• Familiarity with DC power systems.

• Knowledge of NPN versus PNP configurations.

• Proficiency in writing Python scripts.

• Ability to utilize CAD tools such as SolidWorks effectively.

• Hands-on experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial automation sectors.

• Experience collaborating in or around production or assembly environments.

• Understanding of cycle times, uptime expectations, safety regulations, and integration with existing machinery.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Must not require visa sponsorship to work in the United States.

• Willingness to travel domestically approximately 50% of the time.
