Junior Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute accounting entries, reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, and perform ledger analyses.

• Assist in the monthly accounting close process, adhering to the area's timeline and checklists.

• Aid in the maintenance of the chart of accounts, accounting master data, and ERP configurations.

• Contribute to intercompany reconciliations and basic consolidation activities.

• Support controls related to fixed assets, intangible assets, and leases (CPC 27, CPC 04, CPC 06/IFRS 16).

• Organize accounting and tax documentation effectively.

• Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Tax, Controllership, HR/Payroll) to clarify transactions.

• Contribute to dashboards and tracking spreadsheets for the closing process and area KPIs.

• Embrace a digital mindset and investigate how Artificial Intelligence can enhance processes, experiences, and outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Understanding of fundamental accounting practices: journal entries, reconciliations, and closing procedures.

• Basic comprehension of corporate and tax legislation (CPCs, indirect and direct taxes).

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel (formulas, filters, pivot tables).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; organized and oriented towards meeting deadlines.

• Prior experience in a medium to large company, accounting firm, or Big Four.

• Familiarity with corporate ERP systems (such as Oracle, SAP, or similar).

• Interest in Tax Reform, IFRS, and corporate accounting issues.

• Knowledge of or enthusiasm for Artificial Intelligence technologies: tools, applications, and concepts.
