This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• The Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Engineer is a vital member of the Experience and Commerce team, focusing on the design, development, and enhancement of customer engagement solutions utilizing Adobe Experience Cloud technologies.
• This position operates at the crossroads of marketing technology, customer data, and software implementation.
• The AJO Developer collaborates closely with strategists, marketers, architects, data teams, and clients to convert customer engagement needs into scalable, data-driven journeys and campaigns within the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
• The ideal candidate possesses a blend of robust marketing automation knowledge and a strong technical foundation in customer data platforms, data modeling, segmentation, personalization, and journey orchestration.
• They have a comprehensive understanding of how customer data flows between systems and can effectively configure, troubleshoot, and enhance end-to-end customer experiences across various channels.
• While this role functions within a collaborative team setting, it also demands independence, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to ensure successful implementations and exceptional client results.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing Automation, CRM technology, or Customer Engagement Platforms.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and/or Adobe Real-Time CDP.
• Strong grasp of customer journey orchestration and lifecycle marketing principles.
• Experience in designing and configuring audience segmentation and activation workflows.
• Understanding of Experience Data Model (XDM), identity management, customer profiles, and data ingestion methodologies.
• Proficiency in developing email templates and marketing communications using HTML and CSS.
• Strong SQL capabilities for data validation, troubleshooting, and audience analysis.
• Insight into customer data architecture and comprehensive data flows that support marketing activation.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
