Java Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Facilitate communication with stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations from clients.

• Develop efficient, high-performance, testable, scalable, secure, and high-quality code for clients.

• Engage in planning and estimation utilizing various project methods and tools.

• Collect requirements and organize and present the features developed for clients.

• Execute intricate activities adhering to methodology and quality standards across multiple engagements.

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to identify user pain points, foresee problems, and refine solutions.

• Participate in agile software development processes, including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance activities.

• Engage in the Engineering Practice community and offer mentorship through Communities of Practice or project teams.

• Independently drive project delivery within the defined architecture from concept through to deployment.

• Assume technical responsibility for the solutions delivered.

• Collaborate across teams and client groups.

• Contribute to architectural activities at the account level.

• Assist in eliminating delivery obstacles.

• Lead initiatives that provide added value to clients beyond everyday tasks.

• Partner with PDM to enhance processes, ensure successful delivery, and address project risks.

• Conduct requirements analysis, coding, design, implementation, testing, problem analysis and resolution, and technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience/expertise in Java 11, EclipseLink or similar Hibernate, JSF2, Bootstrap, CSS3, Oracle DB, AWS, Ansible, and Jenkins.

• Strong background in Java 8 or Java 11.

• Openness to work on UI tasks utilizing JSF.

• Previous experience with JPA implementations such as Hibernate or EclipseLink.

• Familiarity with relational databases, web frameworks, and Maven or Gradle.

• Experience in unit testing.

• Knowledge of Bootstrap, jQuery, and CSS3 is preferred.

• Experience with Ansible, Chef, or other automation tools is desirable.

• Familiarity with JBoss/WildFly is a plus.

• Experience with JSF2 or PrimeFaces is advantageous.

• Experience with Oracle DB is preferred.

• AWS and CloudFormation experience is a plus.
