Java Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a small, dynamic team focused on the core back-end service.

• Enhance document parsing capabilities and improve fraud detection algorithms.

• Execute integrations alongside improvements in reliability, performance, and modernization.

• Create significant new features and develop novel types of document processing.

• Evaluate customer issue reports and feature requests.

• Participate in design decisions and integrate customer feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in developing back-end Java services.

• At least 1 year of experience in creating AI or ML models.

• Strong foundation in Java programming.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Experience with Machine Learning, Generative AI, document processing or OCR, REST APIs, SQL and relational databases, AWS or other cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.

• Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
