Java Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Develop backend applications using Java Spring Boot.

• Create features based on the requirements provided by the product manager.

• Collaborate with front-end engineers to develop APIs.

• Optimize applications by balancing development costs and scalability.

• Conduct code reviews for colleagues, striving to produce superior code together.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in backend development.

• Proficient in git or other version control systems.

• Familiar with Java Spring Boot and JavaScript.

• Experience with various databases, such as PostgreSQL.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong coordination abilities and a focus on collaboration.

• High self-discipline.

• Capable of working in a dynamic and diverse development environment, learning from peers, brainstorming, and contributing to creating the strongest used car platform in Asia.

• Experience with front-end frameworks, demonstrating full-stack capabilities.

• Knowledge of Firebase.

• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile development methodologies.

• Experience in maintaining cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, and Azure).

• Ability or experience in leading a development team.
